VITO Remote Sensing is celebrating its
20th anniversary in 2018, and we’d love you
to be a part of it.
Join your industry peers and catch a glimpse of the future at our exclusive Networking Event, taking place on the eve of the annual G-STIC conference.
Remote sensing is as much about monitoring the current state of the earth’s surface, as it is about predicting the future.
In today’s highly dynamic world, that forward look is more important than ever. At the VITO Remote Sensing Networking Event, we’ll explore how digital transformation will drive change, and what it means to the different stakeholders in our field.
And because you never fully know what’s around the corner, we’ll do it with a little twist along the way.
It all started with one satellite.
Twenty years ago, a close cooperation between EU countries and the European Commission culminated into the launch of SPOT-4 VEGETATION. A spacecraft that would go on to improve our understanding of the world and its ecosystems.
VITO Remote Sensing took off as the image processing centre for the mission, translating Earth observation images to new data and insights.
But much more than the start of our remote sensing activities, March 24 1998 was a celebration of cooperation and knowledge sharing in general. A day that was much less about tech, than about the people behind it. This anniversary really is about you.
Join us to celebrate this occasion together with your peers.
